The Sine Certified CMT is the level 1 certification intended for ALL professionals working in the fields of calibration and metrology. This certification lays the foundational groundwork for our higher level certifications. The CMT is designed to cover the knowledge needed to start a career in metrology covering the most common measurement disciplines practiced in the majority of labs today:

General Metrology

Electronics

Temperature

Pressure

Force and Torque

Dimensional

Mass

General Safety

This test will be analyzed on a yearly basis by our testing staff, but will also undergo bi-annual board review from experts external to Sine Certified to ensure fairness, applicability, and relevancy. This board is open to public applications and anyone desiring to be a part of this process is encouraged to reach out to us for more information.

**Note on accreditation: While an accreditation is not required to run a certification program, our team has determined that achieving an ISO/IEC 17024 Accreditation for our CMT™ test will provide value for the industry. We have been working towards this goal and intend to start the formal accreditation process.
